As you have probably noticed, we really love going to Bremen, Germany. When we were there recently we decided to have lunch at Vengo in Viertel. We wanted to have dinner here in November but it turned out we needed a reservation because it gets quite busy in this populair restaurant. That afternoon, during lunch hour, there was just a spot for us in the front part of the restaurant. Yay!
Vengo has a week menu (not everything changes every week) and the possibility the choose fresh hearthy food from the counter, like for instance grilled veggies, hummus and artichokes. We choose a Middle Eastern style soup with a herb oil from the menu and some tapas served with a hummus from the counter. Both were served with some pieces of bread. Our food (and drinks) tasted great!
Vengo is a 100% veggie and mostly vegan. So we had a huge choice. It’s also possible to have some coffee and cake or breakfast, but they also serve lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday.
And please do check all the side streets of the Ostertorsteinweg (where Vengo is located). So much amazing streetart! Also take a look at our blog about streetart in Bremen.
(Because of some water problems they temporarily have a new address in the city center, do check the website before you go!)
