Anneloes thought it was a great idea to have an OOTD shoot on holiday. So when I had enough interesting clothes on me for a shoot and we found a great spot in Bologna with an amazing view of the country side, we went for it. The items in this shoot are inherited, borrowed, fair fashion and a bit of high street…
Nowadays I travel light. A concept I have known for years but I had a lot of trouble with. Now we both travel with just hand luggage whether we go on a trip for 4 nights or a fortnight. But I have to say it only works for me in summer. In winter I am always cold and take a lot more clothes with me. For traveling light it also helps to borrow from each other and use products together. And the big plus is it saves us money because we do not have to pay for any checked luggage. We can spend that on green washing our trips: buying some trees to compensate flying.
What I am wearing:
Skirt: borrowed from Anneloes (she bought it a few years ago at Zara when we did not know about fair fashion yet)
Top: ArmedAngels (German fair & eco brand)
Jacket: Madness (German fair & eco brand)
Sneakers: Converse glitter AllStars (no, no, no… ;-)) my next pair of sneakers will be Veja. But first I have to wear these to the last thread and that will take about 5-6 years so pretty sustainable after all right? 😉
Handbag: bought on holiday (and produced) in Poland
Shawl: H&M (a Rank-a-Brand C score)
Glasses: Michael Kors
Necklace and blue pendant inherited, gold cross pendant bought in Seville years ago
Location photo shoot: Santuario di San Luca, Bologna
Publication date at Not So Stuffy: the 10th of July 2017.
